A goal. And more winter.

It's been too long since I've posted, and frankly, I feel a little failure-ish. One of my goals for the year was to blog more, even if it meant seemingly meaningless or random posts, because I want to get into the habit of writing and sharing and posting and taking pictures for the fun of it.

Sigh. I will do better.

Today I've been drinking hot chocolate and working on some orders, and thought I'd pause to share some recent winter images. Cold and I aren't always the best of friends, but winter has a way of tugging at the ol' heart strings. Just because I don't like to shovel the snow or scrape my windshield doesn't mean I don't think it's beautiful.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today I looked over to see this beauty on my bulletin board.  I received it in the mail my second year of college, from my then twelve-year-old sister. She wanted to wish me a "super-duper awesome Valentine's Day".  

Those who know me probably know that I tend to hang on to things like this—sometimes a little too long—but when I get the chance to revisit them, I'm always thankful for that memory. Today I'm thankful for handmade notes, my Mom (who delivers that kind of thing in person), and for the spaghetti that Brett plans on making for supper.
